IDG Media was formed in the mid-1990s when the American publishing giant bought out Macclesfield-based Europress Interactive causing a raft of redundances.
The company went on to some success after some heavy financial backing on the the remaining titles. It's portfolio was sold to Paragon Publishing and closed in Nov 1999
