Sega Zone was a videogaming magazine that covered the Sega console gaming machines. Launched and Published by Dennis Publishing in 1992, Sega Zone had split from its former multiformat console title Game Zone with the Game Zone title continuing as a Nintendo magazine. Early Dennis Publishing staff members included launch editor; Amaya Lopez, deputy editor; Vivienne Nagy and staff writer; Martin Pond and Production Editor, Lisa Collins.
In 1993, Sega Zone, along with sister publication Game Zone, were sold to Future Publishing. During this period Sega Zone had the following staff working for the magazine: Tim Norris (editor), Tim Tucker (staff writer), Josse Bilson (staff writer) and Stuart Campbell (long time contributor).
In early 1994 Future Publishing sold the Sega Zone title onto Maverick Magazines.
